What Is DELTARUNE?

DELTARUNE is a story-driven pixel RPG mixing exploration, puzzles, turn-based combat, and bullet dodging. You guide Kris and friends through strange Dark Worlds where battles can be handled in more than one way.

How to Play

Explore the area, talk to characters, solve puzzles, and enter battles along the way.

Arrow Keys: Move and control the SOUL
Z / Enter: Confirm or interact
X / Shift: Cancel
C / Ctrl: Open the menu

Tips & Strategy

Try ACT before attacking. Some enemies can be handled without simply dealing damage.
Use DEFEND when you need breathing room. It also helps build TP for abilities.
Watch the bullet pattern first. Learning how an attack moves is often safer than reacting randomly.
Don't waste healing items early. Keep some available for difficult encounters.
Move carefully during SOUL sections. Staying alive is more important than trying to graze every attack for TP.

Best Tips for Beginners

Don't depend on attacks for every fight. Check what ACT can do first. When the enemy attacks, watch the pattern and move carefully instead of trying to rush through it.

Hardest Challenge

The tougher fights can get messy when you have to choose an action and dodge attacks at the same time. Boss patterns take a little practice, but they become easier once you know what to expect.

My Gameplay Experience

The interesting part is the switch between normal RPG decisions and active dodging. I found the battles much easier once I stopped treating every encounter like a simple attack-and-heal cycle.
